Encore Rehabilitation, a leading rehabilitation provider, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work 32+ hours/week in our skilled nursing facility, Auburn Health Care, located in Auburn, KY / Kentucky. New Grad Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) are welcome to apply! PRN available as well.

Requirements for the Physical Therapist Assistant position:

  • Part-time-time
  • Kentucky license required
  • Physical Therapist Assistant degree required

Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA

Functions under the supervision of the physical therapist. Provides physical therapy services to residents by assisting in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, and completing related documentation and communication.
Common programs include: ambulation training, strengthening and conditioning, contracture management, wound care, cardiac rehab, balance training, modalities, orthotics, and back injury protection.


  1. Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  2. Current state licensure or license-eligible in states where applicable.
  3. Regular attendance.
